Every year the coordinators of this event select around 10 outstanding members of the community to participate in the show..... (Maybe next year they will pick me!!!) Each contestant has been matched with a Drag Mother to guide them in their look, character, performance and name. Our contestants will spend the upcoming weeks waxing, shaving, plucking, primping, learning to walk in heels and finding the perfect outfit and song to lip-sync while their Drag Mothers share their time, expertise and a whole ton of makeup. But, only ONE will be named the 2017 King of Queens!
Join us on May 7th at The Colosseum (180 Pine St. in downtown Providence.) Doors open at 6pm, show starts at 7pm. Tickets sold at door for $20.
